Nothing is more regal than a well-organized binder. That’s what our AVID students discovered in our first ever binder padgent.
Each candidate for king and queen had to not only prepare a noteworthy binder but also a persuassive speech to rally support. Candidates modeled dividers, pencil pouches and planners then answered questions posed by our discerning audience.
One binder prince was elected king after a loud, but informative binder song. Others won the audience over with exceptional accessories. One princess’s binder included make-up and a mirror between her pencils and pens. I suppose some AVID students are not content to merely succeed in school; they want to look good doing it.
